Gareth is the owner of the Ullman Sails Florida Loft.   He has enjoyed a very successful career offshore as a marine Chief Engineer on both motor and sail yachts alike, over the past 10 years.  His engineering qualifications, experience and seamanship transitioned into operating a successful engineering company in his new found home-state of Florida.  With an entrepreneurial character, Gareth has set forth on a new challenge ashore with the Ullman Sails brand as his “Wheelhouse”.

Gareth is a keen recreational sailor and passionate about the future of the industry.  His journey into the Americas began sailing one of the very popular Robertson and Caine charter catamarans manufactured in Cape Town, South Africa, delivering it to the Moorings charter fleet in the British Virgin Islands.  Since that ambitious journey, his focus has been chartering mono-hulls and day sailing on Florida’s East coast.  Gareth and his wife are members of their local Sailing Yacht Club devoting their spare time to the youth sailing academy, where they plan to initiate their two sons sailing careers and enjoy the cruising and racing comradery the club offers year round.

Ullman Sails Florida is founded under Gareth’s concrete belief;   “creating value for customers and the community.”  This ethos is a product of his exposure to some of the world’s most efficacious individuals and recognizing that many of them shared that same vision.  He brings a satisfaction driven attitude and a sound business model to the Florida loft, to execute his value proposition and delight his customers.
